MICROBIOME REBUILD
As much as you are a sum total of all of your parts, body, mind, spirit and action...You are also the sum total of your entire microbiome. This conglomeration within you, which consists of 10-100 trillion cells, when functioning properly, is a disease fighting machine that can protect your body from practically any external attackers.
Science has come to understand that the human 'microbiome' is responsible for much of a human's health or disease. A depleted and damaged microbiome often results in a poorly functioning immune system and response, and...a strong and diverse microbiome can keep a human healthy, even within the most precariously unhealthy circumstances (colds, flus, viral and bacterial infections and even disease).
According to scientific research, our microbiomes are being depleted due to the usage of glyphosate by farmers (this is also referred to as 'round-up'). Not only does the chemical kill off crops, allowing farmers to get a jump start on their next harvest...but it kills all of the health bacteria and micro-organisms that help to keep us well when living inside our bodies. Another culprit in the killing off of the microorganisms that human's need is all of the harsh chemical cleaners we use in our homes, as well as the 'anti-bacterial' everything we wipe on our bodies.
The bottom line is that strengthening your microbiome will do you a world of good in the prevention of sickness and disease. Below are links to help you understand your microbiome.
